Quite a plesant spot for a swim on a hot day. There are eels and snakes though, they’re countered by the platypus and trout. The paddock next to it holds cattle – also mushrooms.

Back when I was a young lad, all behind this hut was hopfields (if you haven’t seen them – they’re fields of tall wooden poles with string between each one, when they’re in season it’s quite an adventure to explore them). Up the road is a hop kiln which was in use even when I was in primary school. It’s all been subdivided and sold up now, the hop kilns have been turned in to business or residence.

Anyway, I took this photo with a Sigma wide, nothing special but I like it.

I think the rocks are quite interesting. Getting up there was a bit painful though; it was slippery. I had to take my shoes off, turns out toes are really good at hanging on to rocks.

I’m not even sure if wp can handle an image this wide. We’ll put it down to testing.
